“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine.”—Marianne Williamson in A Return to Love (via lalalindsay)
As a longtime blogger but recent tumblrer, you have no idea how happy i am to have stumbled upon your site. I moved to tumblr for the community aspect but was starting to think all tumblrs were just internet memes and random picture postings. Thank god there are actually interesting people with which one can have a conversation with on here!
Thanks so much for this! It really made my day.
And I follow a bunch of wonderful people on here, so I wanted to share some of my favorites with you so you can expand your community too! :)
People I’ve met (or already know) in real life who really are as wonderful as they seem on their blogs.
I just tried on my bridesmaid gown for one of my best friend’s weddings. I hate when it slides on just fine over your head without unzipping, but then the jugs prevent you from pulling it back over your head. And then to make matters worse, the zipper is juuuuust a touch out of your reach, so you can’t unzip it, leaving you caught in a gorgeous dress until someone gets home to unzip you.
Not that I’m experiencing that right now or anything.
