buddy! no need to apologize! i’m sorry midterms have been so terrible - i remember how crappy those were. i hope you’re nomming on chocolate and ice cream to get you through them :) the package arrived this weekend and I LOVE IT! so, so much! you are amazing! i will post photos soon!

favorite d.c. restaurant: casa oaxaca. amazing margs, delicious food and awesome dessert. plus a cozy setting AND it’s close to my house. one of my favorite places to eat.
favorite place for drinks: this is a tough one. for good happy hour deals and a chill place to drink on a patio, i say stetson’s. but i love marvin because their drinks are strong. and bourbon is one of my favorite spots. and as gross as it is, i try to hit up grand central on a friday every once in a while because my favorite bartender, doug, works then and already has my drink poured before i get to the bar.
favorite place to go out: it all depends on what i want to do! i love marvin for a chill night, good drinks and good convo. i love dc9 for dancing, cheap drinks and non-club music. Fatback at Liv on U Street is one of my favorite dance parties. i spend a lot of time on u street, apparently!
favorite museum: i’m a nerd and love the national archives. :)
You said you made alcoholic slushees recently. Tell me more...
we wanted to make jack and coke slushees, but we forgot that liquor stores in d.c. aren’t open on sundays (whoops), so we made rum and coke slushees. just put some ice, a lot of rum and a little coke, plus lots of lime juice into a blender or smoothie machine and voila! drunk awesomeness. we served them in mason jars with straws and it was delightful!

sadly, i don’t have a dvr! but my roommate and i somehow got sucked into the bachelor and OMG it is addicting. i also have an obsession with snapped (on oxygen) and i am an old lady and watch reruns of frasier and the golden girls like it’s my job. and i also love most things talent-related, like the voice or so you think you can dance?
